Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-06-05 · Last updated: 2026-08-15 · Version 2.1

Welcome to Questify. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Vladimir Rakočević (“Questify”, “we”, “us”, “our”), operating Questify as a mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms reference the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here. Please read both.

1. The Service

Questify is a hyperlocal task marketplace. Users (“Questers”) can post real-world tasks (“Quests”) and other Questers can accept and complete them in exchange for whatever reward the Quest itself describes — an off-app reward arranged between the two of you, a favour returned, or nothing at all. The Service connects Questers with each other; it does not employ them, supervise them, or guarantee their conduct.

The Service may also include exploration markers (info posts about places), a trust and reputation system, progression (experience, levels, titles, streaks and achievements), and in-app messaging.

There is no in-app currency. Questify has no coins, tokens, credits or virtual currency of any kind. Nothing inside the Service can be bought, sold, or cashed out. What you build here is standing, not a balance — see §6.

2. Eligibility

Questify is an adults-only (18+) service. You may only use the Service if you meet all of the following:

Users under 18 are not permitted to use the Service. We apply a neutral age screen at sign-up. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will block and delete the account and associated personal data. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

3. Accounts and Account Security

You must provide accurate information when you create an account. You may not impersonate any person or entity, use a misleading display name, or create multiple accounts to evade rate limits, gates, or moderation.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Notify us at the contact address in §21 if you suspect unauthorized access.

The Service may offer optional identity verification. When offered, verification is performed by an independent third-party identity-verification provider: the provider checks your government-issued ID and a live selfie on its own systems and returns to us only a pass/fail result plus minimal confirmation data. We never receive or store your identity document or biometric data — that stays with the provider, who processes it under its own terms and the Privacy Policy, and only with your explicit consent given when you start the flow. Verification is voluntary and is not required to use the core marketplace. Trust on Questify comes primarily from behaviour — ratings, completed Quests, and reports — not from a verification badge. A badge is not a guarantee of any user's identity, character, or safety.

4. Posting Quests

When you post a Quest, you represent and warrant that:

We reserve the right to remove any Quest at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to review Quests before they appear, but we may remove them after publication if they violate these Terms or applicable law.

5. Accepting and Performing Quests

When you accept a Quest, you represent and warrant that:

You are not an employee, contractor, or agent of Questify. Your relationship is with the other Quester only. Questify does not direct your work, supervise your performance, or assume any liability for the outcome.

6. No Currency. Trust Instead.

Questify has no in-app currency. There are no coins, tokens, credits, points-with-value, or virtual or crypto currency of any kind. There is nothing to buy, nothing to hold, nothing to transfer, and nothing to cash out.

No in-app purchases. There is no way to spend real money inside the Service. We take no cut of what you and another Quester arrange between yourselves. If that ever changes, it will be presented separately and prominently, and it will not apply retroactively.

Earlier versions of Questify ran an internal coin economy. It was retired in August 2026. Any historical balance is frozen, cannot be earned, spent, gifted or transferred, has no monetary value and never had one, and confers no right to a refund or payment of any kind.

Why there is no currency

This is a deliberate design choice, not a missing feature.

Questify launches in Podgorica, and it is built for the way a small country already works. In a community this size, reputation is not an abstraction. The person who helps you move a sofa on Tuesday is someone you will run into again — at the market, at a wedding, at work. Word travels, and it travels faster and further than any balance in an app ever could. Montenegro already runs on knowing who is good for it.

A token economy would be a weaker imitation of something this community already has, and it would introduce the exact failure modes we want to avoid: farming, hoarding, and the quiet suggestion that a favour is a transaction. So the Service does not simulate trust with a currency. It records the real thing.

What you build instead

Your standing on Questify comes from conduct, and only from conduct:

Standing cannot be bought, gifted, traded, or transferred to another account. It is earned by one person doing what they said they would do, and it is visible to the next person deciding whether to trust them.

Trust is not property

Your ratings, trust tier, and progression are features of the Service, not assets. They have no monetary value, are not property, and cannot be sold, transferred, inherited, or redeemed for anything. We may recalculate, correct, reset, or discontinue any of them — including to fix manipulation or an error — and we are not liable for any loss of standing or progression resulting from that, from suspension, or from termination of the Service.

7. User-to-User Interactions and Personal Safety

Questify is a connector, not a chaperone.

You acknowledge that:

You agree to follow safety guidance presented in the Service (in-app banners, first-meeting reminders) and to use common sense.

We are not liable for the conduct of any other Quester, online or offline, including but not limited to physical harm, theft, fraud, harassment, or any criminal act. If you are the victim of a crime arising from a Quest, contact local law enforcement; we will cooperate with lawful requests for relevant data.

8. User Content; License

“User Content” means any text, image, video, location data, rating, comment, or other material you submit to the Service.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Questify a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, modify (for technical purposes such as cropping or compression), and distribute the User Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

We may remove User Content at any time. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your User Content as described in the Privacy Policy and the in-app account-deletion flow. Some content (e.g. aggregated platform statistics, audit-trail ledger entries) may persist in anonymized form.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not, and you may not permit anyone to:

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, removal of User Content, reset of trust standing and progression, and referral to law enforcement where applicable.

10. AI and Automated Agents

The Service may, now or in the future, allow third-party AI assistants or automated agents to interact with the Service on a user's behalf via published APIs. Any such interaction is subject to these Terms and any additional integration terms we publish.

You may not allow an AI agent or any automated system to act on your behalf in the Service except via channels we expressly support.

11. Trust, Ratings, and Disputes

The Service includes a reputation system (trust rating, double-blind ratings, cancellation flagging, decay window). The system is designed to weight ratings from more-trusted Questers more heavily and to surface bad-faith behavior.

Ratings reflect the rater's opinion, not a statement of fact from Questify.

If you have a dispute with another Quester regarding a specific Quest, you may open a dispute through the in-app dispute flow. We may, at our discretion, mediate, suspend the disputed Quest, adjust or withhold the ratings and progression tied to it, or take no action. We cannot recover, refund, or enforce any off-app reward you agreed with another Quester — that arrangement is between the two of you (§5). Our decision is final for the purpose of in-app remedy; it does not preclude legal remedies outside the Service.

12. Trust Gates and Account Restrictions

Certain actions are gated by trust tier and verified status. We reserve the right to:

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe in good faith that:

You may delete your account at any time through the in-app deletion flow. Deletion is final and irreversible.

Upon termination:

14. Intellectual Property

Questify, the Questify name, logo, and all related marks are our property. You may not use them except as expressly permitted in the Service or in writing by us.

The Service itself, including source code, designs, and infrastructure, is owned by Vladimir Rakočević. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Service on a device you own or control, subject to these Terms.

15. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL VLADIMIR RAKOČEVIĆ, QUESTIFY, OR ANY AFFILIATE, OFFICER, EMPLOYEE, OR AGENT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (CURRENTLY: ZERO, AS THE SERVICE IS FREE) AND (B) TWENTY-FIVE EUROS (€25).

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability for certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vladimir Rakočević, Questify, and its affiliates from any claim, loss, damage, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Montenegro, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. To the extent permitted by mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence, exclusive jurisdiction lies in the competent courts of Podgorica, Montenegro.

Informal resolution first. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at the address in §21 and give us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under any mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence.

19. Apple-Specific Terms (iOS Users)

If you access the Service through the Apple App Store:

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service (in-app notice or push notification) and reflected in the Effective Date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree with a change, your remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account.
